  1. Hope Torres fails his medical, but then can't get in the Liverpool team, because the 2 new front men score a ton. I can but wish.
  2. It makes good sense student.
  3. ?35m does seem a hell of a lot of cash, but I'm well pleased with the signing, and think it's one that neither Rafa or Woy would have made. It feels like a Kenny signing. Or maybe I'm just talking rot.
  4. Heh
  5. He's not joking, you can do it on here. Dot you click the full stop next to thei name or something? Sorry, using mobile at moment, so cant check. It's a very good point though, if someone does your head in, just block them, then you never have to read another word they write.
  6. Cross posted with your solution suggestions.
  7. I'm not really in to searching for stats on Google, there are others on here who are better at that. I just suspected your initial point was incorrect, so I typed in "knife crime in Wimbledon" followed by "knife crime in chelsea". It wasn't particularly difficult. What would your solutions be then hislordshiplane?
  8. I know Jah, I'm not saying it's just between Atila and SP, but SP does seem to get off on winding him up further, then acting all wounded. I have defended Atila before, and I'm not doing that now. When he came back, I thought he was making an effort to play nice, but that has gone out of the window. I am not putting SP in the same category, but if I was as volatile as Atila, SP would have me spitting deathers too. Anyway, that's all from me. Anything interesting happening in the transfer market (too many people hanging around for me to look at the BBC website).
  9. I know what you're saying, but too much is labelled "gang crime", when actually it's just that someone (possibly a gang member) feels they've been disrepected by someone else. It doesn't matter if that someone else is in a gang or not!

What a > disgusting sentiment. Agree! TJ, I also wondered if it was something like that, or the driver saw the group chasing, and didn't want trouble on the bus. Still, we don't know, and I don't want to be unfair to the driver, who may have had nothing to do with it.
  11. Just in case any users (no names mentioned) fancied some playground action, please keep it off of the Football thread, and do it here, so the rest of us can ignore it. Many thanks.
  12. You're as bad as each other, don't try and take the higher ground. Yes Emerson / Atila is guilty of (massively) overreacting to any criticism of Arsenal, but you in particular SP, just can't sit on your hands, you always have to respond, and frankly it just makes this thread unenjoyable. Anna didn't use it for a good while, I didn't use it for the vast majority of last season, Red Devil seems to have gone, several others hardly use it, and Quids has now gone for a while at least, and I suspect this thread had at least some part to play in that. I'm not having a go at either of you as people, I don't know you. But please, for the love of all that is good and holy in this world, stop with the same old shite!
  13. Utter nonsense. Of course the rate of knife crime is higher in the less well off areas, and you've just chosen 2 very well off areas. However, a very quick google search will give you plenty of stories of knife crime in both Wimbledon and Chelsea. Thankfully indeed.
  14. A 13 year old with a gun. What the f**king f**k!?!?!? Reading that has made me really sad about the killing of Daniel Thompson-Graham. He must have been so bloody scared, no one deserves for their last moments on this earth to be filled with fear like that. Why did he have to get off the 176 that he'd jumped on to I wonder? It's like it's all just a game to them, and I'm not sure zero tolerance would stop it, because I just don't think they give a second thought to consequences.
  15. Forget chosing where you'd like to send your child, these days it seems to be more a case of hoping you can get a place at any of them!
  16. Atticus Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I'd have thought they'd have bitten your hands > off, great promise but hardly established! Totally agree. If he carries on like he is doing for a season or 2, then he may be worth that kind of cash.
  17. Atticus Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Andy Carroll to Liverpool, 30 million?????? Very surprising bid. And even more surprised that it's been rejected, although it may actually make the owner popular with the Newcastle fans for a change.
  18. Yep, Sookie Stackhouse is indeed stacked! I really enjoy the books, which don't really resemble the tv show much (especially after series 1), but the tv show is also fun.
  19. I didn't know if I was allowed to post on here, but since it's been done now, congrats Sean, Lady, and little Lady!
  20. Some of the posts on this thread are shocking.
  21. norman Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > yes this is a safe place to live.its a shame this > as hapend in uor lovely east dulwich As has been said a million times before, it's as safe / unsafe as anywhere else. It's London for God's sake. Sad news indeed.
  22. Agree that plenty of reds fans are unrealistic. I think they're loyal though.
  23. Yeah, Liverpool got knocked out by a good side, a bit like your shower are going to do this weekend.
  24. Total guess, but I suspect the fans Anna is refering to, like the name United.
  25. What Jeremy said.
