Yep, our car also had a window smashed last Friday night- ours was parked on the corner of Felbrigg and Bawdale road.... rather surprisingly, they didn?t even bother to steal the IPod or small change from the console.

To the dog walker in Ruskin Park this morning, whose dog bit a runner as she ran past.... just to let you know I?m okay. You were part of a group of dog walkers around 10am this morning, and none of you bothered to ask if I was okay, or even utter an apology. When I challenged you angrily that your dog bit me, at first you denied it, then realising that you couldn?t deny what had happened, you has the tenacity to say it was my fault for running past..... Please keep your dog on a shorter leash if it?s inclined to lunge and bite People as they pass. I?m glad I wasn?t running with my children this morning, or it may have been far worse. As I now know what you and your grumpy dog look like, I?ll know to avoid you and run through the flower beds, but other park users may not.

For all the locals around the Bawdale/Fellbrigg Road area. If this Mini Cooper is your car, you might want to move it. The parking inspectors have been issuing tickets daily because the back wheels are over the lines.

Hi James, Several years ago I raised a question about the safety of the Whateley Road / Fellbrig Road junction. I am one of the many parents who walk children to Heber Road & find crossing this junction really dangerous. The traffic heading down Whateley road rarely stick to the 20mph limit. Since the opening of the new Harris Academy on the corner of Whateley Road & Lordship Lane, traffic has increased considerably. If the junction is deemed 'safe' due to the lack of accidents, could this junction be considered for a 'lollipop' person during the school run? Cheers, Vanessa

Here are some of our favourites that get rotated pretty regularly -Stir-fried noodles with egg, chicken, fish or beef (whatever protein you have in the fridge). I always throw in peas/carrots or any vegetable they may eat or pick out! -Fajita's (you don't have to make it spicey - just add a little paprika). I add tomato passata or salsa & loads of cheese. -Chicken cacciatori (with rice or pasta) -Chicken or Beef stroganoff (again with rice or pasta) -Pizza (made with flat bread or wraps) my boys love making their own -Burgers (Beef,lamb or turkey mince) -Soup: prefect for winter- I serve it with fish fingers & crusty bread or crutons -Chicken (or pork) schnitzel with polenta or mash potato -Fish (either crumbed & fried) or white fish with a cheesy parsley sauce & potatoe wedges -Apple & blackberry crumble

Hi James, Is there any chance of Southwark looking into a pedestrian crossing on Whately road at the Felbrigg/Cyrena Road junction? It's a popular route for school children heading to/from Heber Road & can be quite tricky during the school run. Vanessa

Our discovery, along with our neighbours, were done over last week on Fellbrigg Road -both cars parked under a street light. The guys over at JLC in Herne Hill are doing a roaring trade!

After 2 emercency C-Sections at Kings, my 3rd C-Section was planned. During the pregnancy my midwife made an appointment to meet with one of the consultants at Kings regarding the birth. They discus with you the usual factors:- previous pregnancies/births, current medical conditions etc. & discuss the risks involved with C-Section v's V-BAC. Ultimately their priority is safe deliverly of baby & mum. When I came do discuss delivery dates with my midwife, she advised me who would be the surgeon on the days surrounding my C-Section dates. In the end I didn't have my consultant as theatre was already booked up for that day. So you can choose your surgeon if you know what days they are rostered in theatre. The more complicated pregnancies have the more senior staff assigned. But these are all things you can discuss with the consultant when you meet them. I met the surgeon in pre-op when I signed the waiver forms (always a scarey moment!) All the consultants & surgeons I met over the years have been fantastic. Right before thay take you to recovery you are topped up with pain killers & on the ward I had no trouble needing meds outside the meds dispensary round. What took ages was getting the release forms signed to go home - nothing ever gets done close to shift change!
