  1. Made of Stone - The Stone Roses
  2. Yes, Sean that's right and I'm still plotting my revenge. Sleep with one eye open....
  3. Morning all! Just arrived a work with time for a quick cooked breakfast (the only thing a hospital canteen is good for) before starting my shift. Great fun last night, lovely to see people again and some new faces. Right, off to save lives and stamp out disease. ps - completely forgot last night - Bellenden Belle texted me to say she couldn't make it after all and I promised to say hi form her and make her apologies then promptly forgot. Sorry BB!
  4. I'll be there about 9.30ish. See you all later....
  5. The one where they make the car out of cake to the sound of the lovely Julie Andrews. Mmmmmmmm.

  8. The "me too" was to Asset post BTW. People post so fast on here!
  9. Yes, me too. Although I did always get him confused with Guy Pearce. I think, although the importance of his death may be over rated, the sadness of it isn't. For anyone (famous and talented or otherwise) to die so young and so pointlessly, leaving behind a family including a young child, is a tragedy to those who loved and knew them.
  10. Heath Ledger's dead?
  11. Sorry about the long wait, pesky patients in the "real world" keeping me busy. Seems to me this lion and this joke are both getting a bit old, I'm sending them both off to a nursing home..

Why's he wearing a > dress? Oh, hadn't noticed her, how odd! No, the one in the middle with the big crown, although he is kind of wearing a dress too.
  13. *reappears* *leads lion into small, curtained cubicle* *asks lion to put on NHS gown (ties go at the back) and pop on to the couch* *asks a series of personal and seemingly unrelated questions* *makes notes and says "hhmmmmm"* *puts on latex gloves and pokes and prods lion all over* *turns attention to stump* *"does this hurt?" poke "righty-ho, sorry"* *back in a tick...*
  14. The man holding the crown was my great, great uncle... http://news.bbc.co.uk/nol/shared/spl/hi/pop_ups/03/uk_queen0s_coronation_2_june_1953/img/3.jpg
  15. *shows bleeding, three legged, damp lion to extremely uncomfortable grey metal chair next to sleeping tramp* *explains, smiling charmingly, that there is an 8 hour wait to see a doctor* *disappears*
  16. Blimey. Summoned into the quiet room. This must represent stage 4 forumitis, what do you think Sean? Where's this sickly lion then?
  17. This might make me reeeaally unpopular, but the Tori Amos cover of Smells Like Teen Spirit is just brilliant. She's done great and very haunting cover of I Don't Like Mondays too. And a couple of Chas & Dave songs Sorry :-$
  18. Don't start that again Sean. I don't think mine is the oddest or most interesting on here. I want to know more about BJL and Rolo. And *bob* of course, go on....
  19. No, not at all, don't worry. I know it's irrational, but then phobias are by definition. As for your sensitive problem, I'm with Sean, just tell him. Good luck!
  20. No, not joking. Much better than I used to be, six winters in Sheffield as a student helped a lot, so I can go outside when it's snowing now.
  21. Forever Young - Alphaville
  22. My family are addicts. Over Christmas my brother and sister sat in the same room on different laptops playing scrabulous with each other. We do have a scrabble board, but apparently that wouldn't have been the same.
  23. Well said Jah. I'm resisting the urge to say more, because I get uncharacteristically angry about scientology. Gggggrrrrrrrrrrr.
  24. That is interesting BJL. I have Chionophobia.
  25. I loved Redgewells and still miss it. I did eat in the Italian once, a very early date with MrJ, and we were the only people there. The food was fantastic though, I always thought it was a real shame they couldn't get everything else right. But staying on topic, I've only been to Green & Blue twice and had completely different experiences. The first time the staff were patronising and behaved as if we were being utterly tiresome in asking them to explain a bit more about the wines. We felt extremely uncomfortable and left quickly. The second time was just before it closed, the waitress was charm itself and really helpful with recommendations. I'd like it to stay open so I can try a few more times and make up my mind.
