  1. Last place I saw a proper fish stall like that was Aldgate, or the coast spider69 Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > I remember the sea food stalls that were all over > East Street, Where do you find these stalls > locally now? > > Sopers have a selection, nothing like the lane > was.
  2. Was your ?150 discount listed separately? I'm not sure, I just have an amount discounted, it could be my single person discount trinidad Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > The council tax bills arrived from the council > today. > > Can you cope with the increase or still value for > money? > > There is a ?150.00 council tax rebate from central > government for properties from A - D
  3. Bit random, but the huge planter in the blocked off Windsor Walk is full of a big fat nothing, apart from rough looking soil. Does anyone know who would be looking after it? Because I'm tempted to go guerilla gardener and throw some wild flower seeds in, and just watch what happens!
  4. Southwark would sell it's own grandmother for the right price
  5. Make sure you share the link with us as you start posting video! 6. I'm perpetually surprised to find a bus/train with all windows closed. I would like all cleaners to leave all windows open as part of their remit. Trouble is, a lot of the LB longer trains are with ones where you can't open the windows at all! 7. 3 in a week! Never happened before apparently..
  8. Yes! I didn't think it would be my sort of thing at all, but I binged after watching one! 9. Wow, what a privilege to witness!
  10. Certainly bracing! My friends on the coast are waiting it out anxiously..
  11. To be honest, if you walk a dog at a similar time and place each day, this type of ad hoc acquaintance springs up. I still say hi to people now I've no foster dog to walk! 12. If this was a builder or taxi driver it is hardly front page headlines. Maybe a small section of a local newspaper. Doubtful. Remember the 'cat in the wheelie bin' woman, that story was covered extensively and she was found and prosecuted
  13. What a story, and what a woman! Although to say she's at her wits end and also physically on her last legs is no exaggeration. Utmost respect
  14. I understand the point being made here, but I'd have a tad more sympathy for BOTH parties if there hadn't been an unreasonable complaint about the OP playing music (once!) goldilocks Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Or they're just living in their flat? 15. I think you are bending over backwards and it's time to end the friendly! Get some proper advice, keep a diary from right now, and explore action possibilities. They obviously think numbers mean strength, they are wrong.

  18. The feedback I got when enquiring about a crossing was basically 'we couldn't possibly slow down the traffic, this is the south circular you know' Sue Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > There was supposed to be a pedestrian crossing > installed at this junction by now. > > Does anybody know what has happened re that?

  22. I believe the London Wildlife Trust do regular sessions in the woods
  23. From East Dulwich, where exactly does the bus pick up? Someone told me it wasn't outside the station!
  24. Were you turned away in St Christophers? Last time I asked them where the music was they said they didn't sell vinyl and cds any more, I wonder why? Clothing makes more money
