Thank you so much, Sally! 😊 It’s been amazing having you with us for the past 18 months. Your progress and dedication, especially after recovering from pneumonia, have been so inspiring. I’m glad the 1:1 sessions and Hyrox training worked well for you and that you enjoyed the experience—what an achievement to compete in the event! 🏅 Your kind words about the team, the hub, and the outdoor classes mean a lot. Thank you for sharing your journey, and I’m so happy you’ve enjoyed being part of Gokay Fitness! Gok

Don?t be upset by the results you didn't get with the work you didn't do. You can only be fit if you exercise. And it only works if you do it consistently. Incorporate it in your manic life. You have to do it even if it is for 20 minutes. You know you'll benefit from it. Come on! https://www.instagram.com/reel/Cawd_rXpzwi/ www.gokayfitness.com

Are you coachable? Let?s say you are struggling with your fitness journey and decide to work with a PT to lose some weight, tone up and get stronger. But, do you think you are coachable? Unless you are coachable, sorry to say, but you won?t go very far. Here are 5 important traits. 1) You must be willing and able to commit to the process. 2) You need to keep showing up. 3) You need to have a beginner?s mindset. 4) You need to be open and willing to embrace change. 5) And finally, trust your coach! https://www.instagram.com/gokayfitness/reels/?hl=en www.gokayfitness.com

Here is a common excuse I hear quite often: My neighbour?s wife?s old brother?s second cousin?s mum?s youngest?s daughter?s school friend?s sister?s fish died. And yes, it was tragic! So, that?s why I can?t exercise today! https://www.instagram.com/reel/CX8AWy0KmPT/ Get in touch to find out more! www.gokayfitness.com

Competition could be a fantastic way of unleashing your power! I was definitely expecting Vicki to lose a good amount of weight in this competition, but I didn?t expect almost 10kg loss 😆 Some people might say, ahh if you lose a lot of weight very quickly, you gain it back quickly. Yes, but only if you go back to your unhealthy lifestyle and eating habits. The motivation you get from a kickstart fitness journey is that you are going to keep going as you know it works. Well done Vicki for your amazing results 💪👏 https://www.instagram.com/p/CZEZ3FQKHnh/ Get in touch to find out more! http://www.gokayfitness.com/

Myth: Sit-ups = six-packs Sit-ups means six-packs No! A well-defined six-pack requires more than a few sit-ups. To have a six-pack, you must follow a strict diet, a structured workout regime, including cardio and strength training. You need to get rid of your excess body fat first. You'll need to lower your body fat to about 14 to 20 percent for women and 6 to 13 percent for men. Get in touch to find out more! https://www.instagram.com/reel/CLJEjV8nnoq/

Discipline provides people with rules to live their lives efficiently and effectively. When you have discipline in your life you can make small sacrifices in the present for a better future. Discipline creates habits, habits make routines, and routines become who you are daily. It is a learned behaviour. It requires practice and repetition. So, what discipline can you incorporate in your daily life that creates healthy habits and routines? https://www.instagram.com/reel/CUj_blpLDWk/ www.gokayfitness.com

Get this right. You?d better exercise regularly, even if they are short ones than working out only once a week for 3 hours. It?s like learning a language. You need to practice it daily to make progress rather than having a 2-hour lesson once a week. Do you brush your teeth once a week or every day, or even more than once a day? You got my point! https://www.instagram.com/reel/CPq0B0rDRjX/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link

Here is a great way of seeing your fitness progress. Record Your Stats Nothing builds motivation as efficiently as seeing signs of improvement. Keep some kind of record of your activity. It can be as simple as noting the weight you lifted or recording the time it took to cycle 10k. You can use either one of the many fitness apps available or old-fashioned pen and paper.
