  1. It's probably obvious but I haven't worked it out yet! When you go into one of the forum "rooms" some of the threads are marked with a blue "new" and some with a red "new". what's the difference between them?
  2. ?12 for 48 packets. ?4 delivery charge. I wish locating everything I wanted to buy was this easy! http://www.tayto.com/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=3
  3. Enniskillen here. I always thought they came from Tayto Castle, where Tayto Crisps are made....
  4. I'm with Ant on this. I have a very sour/acidic-dominated palate and an unhealthy affinity for alcohol but Limoncello is just wrong.
  5. I don't get the obsession with "celebrities". They are just birds and blokes who happen to be on TV/have their pix in crappy exploitative (of the people who buy them) magazines. I don't see why anyone cares.
  6. So I went a-Googling. Pretty sure it was the Lewisham Branch of the Celia Hammond Animal Trust - 0208 694 6545. Also found this: http://www.amissingpet.co.uk/
  7. Don't know if he'd have made it that far but on the way back from Peckham Rye Station this evening there was a note pinned to a tree saying that some cat charity had been taking stray cats away from the big car park on Choumert Grove. Local residents were concerned for them apparently. They were also recommending people to make sure their cats had collars so they'd know they were owned and wouldn't "take them in". Presumably if Mickey had a collar then they'd have left him. Sorry I didn't get the name of the charity or the phone number on the note (which an hour ago anyway was on a tree on the SW corner of Choumert and Blenheim Groves).
  8. Yes - have used that before. Thanks.
  9. Last logged in last night I think. Yes - all were at zero! Don't worry too much, it's not the end of the world - just mildly irritating! Most internet boards I read have this problem from time to time but this one had behaved impeccably up until now.
  10. Yes - but not locally! http://www.patarathailand.com/london/index.html http://www.london-eating.co.uk/10.htm
  11. Has something gone wrong? Just logged in to find 4229 new posts to read in the main forum.(6)
  12. Canary Wharf as well. East Dulwich to London Bridge then Jubilee. Or Peckham Rye to Lewisham then DLR. 40-50 mins if everything's behaving itself.
  13. Just finished Middlesex by Jeffrey Eugenides which was brilliant. Currently very much enjoying Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts.
  14. Calling it in East Dulwich might be pushing it a bit but I had a leaflet through my door about this place at the weekend... http://www.hoopersbar.co.uk/home.html
  15. I don't. Live in the area with my boyfriend as well and never had any problems anywhere but personally wouldn't make any effort to go to a bar just because it labelled itself gay. I like the idea of a mixed piano bar though....
  16. What sort of music? Sheet? Instruments? Records/CDs? There's a really good shop for sheet music (and classical scores/musicals/groups' compilations) on Grove Vale. They have odd things like metronomes, harmonicas, recorders as well. http://www.slmusic.co.uk
  17. It does get a bit unnecessarily "off-topic" sometimes, doesn't it?
  18. Am I imagining it or is there also one on Melbourne Grove in that parade of shops with GM and Booteeki?
  19. I haven't been recently, but the Blue Brick Cafe on junction of Shawbury/Fellbrigg roads always used to do it for me!
  20. Has anyone tried this new? Tapas Bar (part of a pub) at the junction of Oglander and Adys roads? Any good?
