I have just seen two green lime bikes being ridden in College Rd. in heavy traffic with two tiny children perched in the front plastic baskets. I am not permitted to climb a ladder unaided yet this is legal.

It seems ironic that we are all being shafted by the mad net zero obsession whilst local indolent highways jobsworths can still create massive delays and pollution when ever and where ever they choose by dreaming up yet another expensive and unnecessary road excavation.

Minor Road works have been drifting along seemingly for months outside West Dulwich station causing massive tail backs and severe pollution on the South Circular and Croxted Rd. There seems to be no control or sense of urgency whatever with what appears to be a meandering exercise to fiddle around with a couple of traffic islands. What is going on.?? Why are we governed by such half wits?

We have had a household softener for the past ten years. We would not be without it. No hard water scum or limescale furring up pipes and showering and washing with soft water is incomparably nicer. You do need to leave a mains supply in the kitchen for drinking and cooking as softened water does not taste nice.

I have a chum who has an agency carer. He pays £200 per day for two days a week. He asked the carer how much he got of this outrageous charge. He said “less than £40”. Disgraceful.

Brother from the sticks staying with us. Forgot his critical heart pills. Disaster. Facing 5hr drive home or 6hrs in AE. Tried our surgery and TJ Health Centre. No good but suggested 111. Expected the worst, but they were brilliant. Calm and efficient, presumably spoke to his GP and we collected prescription from ED an hour later. 111 gets lots of stick but excellent when it works like this!

Just spent 30 mins in W/End at 10.30 pm trying to get a black cab home to Dulwich. Dozens passed me with lights off and empty. With diesel at £10 per gallon how can they swan around looking randomly for who knows what? Over the years I have become more and more disillusioned with the myth of the cheeky chappie cabbie with his “ just done the knowledge guv” stuff and how awful life is . Finally took the train home and had an Uber in 5 mins. Could some cabbie please elucidate??

And the Tories were voted out in Wandsworth despite the council taxes for 40 years being a fraction of those in loony Lambeth across the street for identical services. Do poverty stricken stupid voters hate Boris so much that they will willingly commit financial hara kiri.I despair again.

I cannot believe that voters have been so stupid. In DV ward they voted overwhelmingly to rid themselves of these wretched LTNs, only to be ignored by a this hugely arrogant council. They have now voted back the same half wits who have not only pledged to keep them but to instigate more of the same. I despair.
