People are getting excited about the pools, but the vast majority of people barely think about politics, and they have swallowed the strong and stable bullshit and that Corbyn is a disaster, and they will vote as such because of brexit. It's all just a bit shit.

The problem with your argument is that boundaries change. By your logic, none of us live in London, because there will be a map somewhere showing it. Sorry but post codes are the modern boundaries. SE15 = Peckham.

RD I like you and think you're a top poster, but this response winds me up. As soon as people try to look at the causes of this terrorism, other people shout about making excuses for the terrorist. The terrorist was scum, a nasty little cunt that didnt deserve to avoid justice the way he did. What happened that night is on him 100%. But why is it happening so much (this type of attack actually quite rare in western countries, but more low tech attacks are regular)? Now 9/11 did happen before Iraq. And those that head up this twisted style of islam do indeed just hate our way of life. IO believe the originator of this school of islam visited America years ago (decades) and came back saying "nope, it's all wrong and sinful over there". So yes, at the route of it is our way of life, nothing to do with foreign policy. BUT 1. In terms of their recruitment drives, I believe our actions over there have helped them immeasurably. One of the Lee Rigby killers said to the camera that it was payback. 2. We have gone in, caused chaos, then left without sorting the chaos. This has created the perfect canvas for IS to build on. So yes, I believe that if we hadn't gone in to various campaigns (not just Iraq), we might not be seeing so many home grown dickheads doing this stupid evil shit. I also think a lot of them are vulnerable and IS are very good at grooming. And I also think some of them are just thick macho twats that want to go and play with guns.
  4. Yeah I saw that. Forget the timing / insensitve manner of it. It's just a really shit joke. And this dude is a comic?

RE The Canary, I would encourage each of you to do a simple test. Next time you see a link to a Canary article that says something like "the story the mainstream media didn't want you to see", google the subject and I'll bet you find loads of links (usually from a couple of months before at least) from the BBC and various "mainstream" papers. I completely agree that the Murdoch owned press is terrible right wing garbage. But I consider The Canary to be no better than Breitbart.
  9. I was about to say that perhaps some crimes should just be an automatic "never to practice again". But then I thought what if a 16 year old boy had consensual sex with his 15 years and 10 months girlfriend, parents pressed charges and he got a record for statutory rape. For me he doesn't deserve to have his future taken away. And I just can't see how it would be workable to any patient to be able to demand the history of any doctor before they decided whether they wanted their care or not. Imagine you are due an op, you decide you don't want that doctor touching you. The NHS are unlikely to have a spare surgeon on standby, so you then have to wait another 3 months on the waiting list. It may not be perfect, but I can't think of a better system than the DBS system that we currently have.

  11. Did she say picturehouse specifically? Seems a bit unfair on the people working in other cinemas.

But not to > worry it won't you won't have a right to know. Why are you assuming that if soneone supports this woman, they automatically support every doctor that may have done something wrong in the past? Surely case by case rarher than blanket response. And if my child requires a paediatrition amd that paediatrition does tgere job and treats her appropriately, I couldn't really care what they may have done.
  13. A lot of the older fellas had Mild in my old local in Liverpool (late 90s/early 00s). Or several of them would order a 50 which was half mild and half something else that I can't remember.
