I'm sure they have some ridiculous caveat that you could/should be using facilities at another venue... I'm sure I read that in their terms and conditions somewhere...

Erm... guessing it's like any service... so you can receive/be part of something relevant to you in the area where you happen to reside. You don't have to sign up but you might miss out on an excellent Tesco offer or two. 🤷♀️

So many scam builder salesmen😫KalamityKel replied to Ordinary's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip Ah, guilty until proven innocent... until they run off with your money, they aren't actually doing anything wrong. Yes, you know they are probably a scam but you have no proof of anything. They're being a nuisance. If they are being persistent, perhaps just contact the police https://www.met.police.uk/ro/report/asb/asb-v3/report-antisocial-behaviour/ 🤷♀️

I guess its the thing these days to demonstrate an attitude, in this instance seemingly of the negative kind, instead of taking pride in your work and have standards then 🤷♀️

So of you're in a coffee shop and the barista is rude to you you wouldn't complain as long as you had received your coffee?

As hard as it is with some individuals, try not to feel invalidated by them. You don't need to be told how to communicate. They're the ones with that particular failure (If anyone is offended or about to bristle in response then you already know it's you I mean). Jazzer, your original snippet is helpful for those who may not be in the know and thank you for posting. However, as is the nature of the beast, by adding it here you are inviting discussion which will inevitably go in directions you might not have intended. Don't give up 🙃

	Where is the new place?

Did you ever resolve the issue without resorting to chucking it out a window (a real one)?

Out of curiousity... what constitutes a "best" porridge? Oats? Consistency? Taste? Should we ever add extras to the mix?
