Hate Crime - ED Grove - last night 10pm
JCR53S replied to Jules-and-Boo's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
[EDIT] - cross posted with Penguin68. Share your sentiments exactly I'm really sorry to hear about your kid's encounter last night @Jules-and-Boo. That's atrocious behaviour. Would suggest though that the perpetrator wouldn't be particularly forthcoming on The East Dulwich Forum about their actions... in the unlikely event they even use this site. I would suggest getting in touch with the police on 101 if you haven't yet; providing as much of a description of this person as your child remembers. Things like: - what their voice sounded like - The colour of their clothes - If it was clear, the person's gender All could be useful in helping identify. CCTV may have also been present in the area. Brick House Bread announced they aren't reopening
JCR53S replied to Azalea's topic in General ED Issues / Gossip
It?s so sad to see such a local gem close down due to the greed of landlords. I recently-ish moved to the area because of such fantastic independent places like brick house. Is there anything we can do as a community to make clear our displeasure at ?crippling rent increases? which are forcing out much-loved local small business? -
I recently purchased a teak dining table from a seller in this forum. Legs slot on to the base of the table top, with bolts to secure. Seems these legs need to be wedged as they wobble quite a bit don?t sit flush. Can anyone recommend a talented joiner who could do this work? Or is anyone on this forum in the trade? I?ve contacted a few people in the ?recommend? threads I?ve found, who either are not available for a while or have not gotten back to me. I?m located close to The Lordship pub.
