  1. After-school nanny required to pick up from The Belham, 3.25 - 7pm Monday-Thursday. Looking for someone fun, creative, able to cook evening meals and be reliable. We pay holiday pay and our nannies typically stay with us for a year or more. Please DM me on here to chat more.
  2. Looking for a nanny, Monday - Thursday, 3pm - 6.30pm (with occasional ad hoc extra hours) from January 2024 for a lovable, fun 7 year old boy who needs to be collected from the Belham, Peckham Rye area. We are looking for someone who likes to play, is happy to connect with other childcarers / parents and their kids, hang out at Warwick Gardens when the sun shines, and play at home when it’s cold and dark. This will include making and serving some food at home, the occasional playdate at home or elsewhere, and generally just having fun! Some extra hours are sometimes available during school holidays, sick days, babysitting etc. To boost the hours, this can also include some housekeeping work across 2-3 days, if you're interested. We are a chilled out family who live close to the school and all we really ask is that our son’s nanny is reliable, committed, kind and likes chatting, listening to and playing with a boy (biased as we are) we know to be loving and brimming with enthusiasm. He quickly bonds with people who like imaginative play and being a bit silly. We pay during school holidays so nannies can have their own breaks too. We respect your profession and see you as part of our family. Please get in touch if interested.

  5. Looking for a nanny, Monday - Thursday, 3pm - 6.30pm (with occasional ad hoc extra hours) from September 2023 for a lovable, fun 7 year old boy who needs to be collected from the Belham, Peckham Rye area. We are looking for someone who likes to play, is happy to connect with other childcarers / parents and their kids, hang out at Warwick Gardens and other locations after school when the weather is decent, and play at home when it’s cold and dark. This will include making and serving some food at home, the occasional playdate at home or elsewhere, and generally just having fun! Some extra hours are sometimes available during school holidays, school strike days, sick days, babysitting etc. We are a chilled out family who live close to the school and all we really ask is that our son’s nanny is reliable, committed, kind and likes chatting, listening to and playing with a boy (biased as we are) we know to be loving and brimming with enthusiasm. He quickly bonds with people who like imaginative play, cooking cakes and being a bit silly. We pay tax, NI, pension and do it all above board as required by the right person. We pay during school holidays so nannies can have their own breaks too. We ask for a commitment of a school year (hopefully more) and have been lucky to have continuity of just two nannies over the last few years who have only left because they are going on to new careers / studies / moved etc. We respect your profession and see you as part of our family. Please get in touch if interested.

  7. Hi! what hours are you looking for? I am looking for a childminder / nanny from Sept, but with commitment for a school year, if that's possible. We are a v chilled family with a boy aged 7 and need Mon-Thurs pick up from the Belham in Peckham Rye area from around 3pm - 6.30pm. Looking for someone fun and imaginative to hang out with a loveable, inquisitive child and generally just have fun. What wouldn't work for us is adhoc work, and we pay tax, pension, NI and holiday pay. Let me know if you're interested x Becca
  8. Hi, Looking for a nanny too pick up year 2 son from The Belham (SE15) from September onwards from 3.15pm, hang out with him at the park with his mates, organise playdates (I'll help with this!), cook tasty meals, do arts and crafts and generally have a lovely time until around 6.30pm (7pm latest), Monday - Thursday. He's funny, kind and full of beans. But sometimes he mostly wants to chill out, cook and chat at home. We have two cats, who normally scarper when anyone comes into the house. We're a chilled, decent family, and you can speak to our previous two nannies who have become part of the family. Becca x
  9. I am seeking advice as I am separating and buying a new home, while trying to keep an eye on the secondary school situation. We can get our child into Charter East in years to come. My ex can stay in our current house which is firmly in the catchment, but I need to buy a new place and I am priced out of the area. I can afford East Dulwich (south of Peckham Park towards Honor Oak Park, or more towards Camberwell). My question is, when child goes to senior will it disadvantage them socially to be a mile away? I know the catchment for Charter East is half that. Or when kids get to that age and cycle alone, does it not matter re: seeing friends outside of school? In interim, I will need to drive / cycle my child a mile to primary. Do any of you have that experience? In other parts of London that distance is not extraordinary, but here it feels so. Looking for views and / or similar experiences if possible. Message me if it's sensitive. Thank you.
  10. Has anyone else had an experience of a micro scooter going missing from Goose Green play park? My three year old son scooted there two Saturdays ago and it disappeared. We went back to look for it a few times but it was never returned. Just wonder if it's a common event and I should carry the next one around with me all time? TIA
