  1. Evening Yoga Flow at Goose Green Community Centre 6.45-7.45PM - TUESDAY's All Levels Welcome £12 Drop in/£108 10 Class Pass Don't worry if you've never tried Yoga before, haven't stepped into a class for a while or are worried that you haven't got the right clothes to wear! These classes are here to help you reconnect and give yourself some time and space. There is physical movement but also a chance to be still, meditate and rest. At the same time you'll build confidence and find new strength and flexibility in your own body. You'll be able to see how a practice can help to ease tension and create a deeper sense of well-being. Basically, it's a great way to take some time out from a busy and demanding work and home life! My name's John and I've been teaching classes and workshops in London for over 5 years. I am a 500hr trained Yoga Teacher and specialise in Traditional Hatha, Dynamic and Vinyasa Flow Yoga. More and more I see the need in people to rest and to remove the constant flow of stress we can all feel at times - this is becoming a bigger part of my teaching style and it would be great to share it more with the East Dulwich community. Feel free to drop in! To book, please visit: http://www.johnpyoga.com For more info, please contact: [email protected]
  2. Men's Yoga Class at Goose Green Community Centre Monday - 8pm-9.15pm (Begins 20th January) ?13 drop in or ?60 for a 5 class pass This class is relocating to larger premises at Goose Green Community Centre due to growing popularity, come along and be part of this friendly and welcoming group of chaps. I started the class 3 years ago to give guys the opportunity to give Yoga a try if they haven't done before. I've heard lots of reasons for this...'I'm not flexible enough', 'I'll be the only guy in the studio', 'My wife, girlfriend, Mum, Partner do it but I've never tried it', and a few more along the way. All are understandable and may hold some element of truth but they shouldn't stop you stepping onto the mat. The practice is open to all and is most suited to beginners to intermediate levels. With a focus on opening and connecting back into your body, mind and breath you'll feel strengthened and rebalanced at the end of each session. You'll be able to see how establishing a practice helps other aspects or your fitness routine, alleviate tension and create a deeper sense of well-being. I am a 500hr trained Yoga Teacher (Sivananda and Claire Missingham Advanced Training) and specialise in Hatha, Dynamic and Vinyasa Flow Yoga. These aspects are incorporated to each session with a background based in the traditional roots of Yoga. You can also expect an uplifting playlist!
