  1. Can anyone offer a good disco party hire recommendation? I’ve looked on Google but seems a bit full on? Just need someone to give the party a sense of occasion, get the kids dancing for a bit, but still allow kids to do other stuff (eg, crafts) in background for those who don’t want to. Big but not a massive room (so no quiet zone possible)… really don’t want something too manic
  2. Thanks so much for this! It’s worked - apparently a common problem.
  3. 2015 iMac was working fine until I tried to erase and reboot for sale. Now I can’t get past the disk utility phase so I’m looking for someone to check it out and see if any hope for repair. Any ideas?
  4. Not true. Unless she?s got a temperature? From https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-stay-at-home-guidance/stay-at-home-guidance-for-households-with-possible-coronavirus-covid-19-infection#SymptomsPositiveTest ?You do not need to take any more LFD tests after the 10th day of your self-isolation period and you may stop self-isolating after this day. This is because you are unlikely to be infectious after the 10th day of your self-isolation period. Even if you have a positive LFD test result on the 10th day of your self-isolation period you do not need to take any more LFD tests after this day and you do not need a follow-up PCR test. If you are concerned you may choose to limit close contact with other people, especially those who are at higher risk of severe illness until 14 days after the start of your self-isolation period.?
  5. Still bad nearly 4 years after giving birth. Causing a lot of back pain and discomfort. A lot of conflicting advice out there, and finding I?m just not sure if I?m doing recommended exercises properly. Would really appreciate any insights, experiences, recommendations?
  6. Should say, please PM me if you think you can help out.
  7. I don't know how usual a call this is, but... I want to get more out of some data analysis work I'm doing. Maths A Level a long time ago. My work's training is too far ahead and I need to get going on it now. Also - there's a specific problem I need to solve for a deadline coming up, so don't have time to go through hours of online training just to be able to identify what it is I need to do. I'm looking for someone who's v good on statistics. I don't want them to do the work for me, just to meet with me and discuss in the first instance how they might help equip me with the tools I need. I'm envisaging maybe 1-2 hours, maybe more. It's not a hard question (I think I'm after the best model to assess correlation on this particular data set, and doing some statistical significance) but I do want to meet in the first instance (maybe 10 mins on zoom or something) to check that you can help me solve the problem I need to solve, and set me on the right path to it. I want this to be a quick fix, but I want to learn by doing this and ultimately understand better the training paths I need to take.
  8. Thanks Betty This will inevitably happen to us so great to have the advice Starting a new job soon and dealing with the absence from nursery until tested factor is already stressing me out.
  9. I just wanted to post to recommend Mama Codes. My 8 year old has had a fantastic time online with them over lockdown and is now signed up for their autumn weekly after school online clubs. I honestly can?t recommend them highly enough. Richard is a fantastic online teacher, who is so clear, so patient, and so respectful of all the kids. He has really helped my son grow in confidence and ability/enthusiasm. As he goes back to school tomorrow, just wanted to post this as a thank you and a recommendation. It was one of the few highlights of our week in lockdown and we look forward to carrying on.
  10. Thanks - but I am looking for classes, not resources.
  11. my 7 year old is really struggling without the school routine. His school doesn't provide much support and I woudl like to find some kind of other learning environment that he can participate in - even if it's just once a week. Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations? Would be v appreciated!
  12. Upstairs flat leaking into our property when shower is used Owners not responsive so have to find plumber/someone who can do a short term fix. Happened several times before and usually sorted out in short term with silicone gun/grouting This is leading to a bigger job as recurring issue and we are going to get it fixed PROPERLY if they don?t but can?t do it now Will be able to social distance etc
