Mutlu Auto Electrics on Evelina Road in Nunhead were great when I had a problem that two other people could not diagnose. He saw me quickly as I needed to go out of London and needed it to be fixed, and he said he wouldn't even charge me as it only took a few minutes, until I insisted on paying something. I don't think he has a website but he's on Google Maps and his number is 07944 405555.

I am looking for a builder or window fitter qualified to create a new opening approximately 500 x 500mm and install a window in the location shown in the photos. Possibly also supply the window if you can supply something suitable and you want to supply, otherwise install only is fine. The walls are thick and solid so proper mechanical equipment will be needed. Postcode: SE15 3JN. Please get in touch if you are interested in doing the work sometime before the end of autumn (I am NOT looking for recommendations, just direct contact from people who can do the job within that timescale). There might be further work removing a load-bearing kitchen wall or two. Thanks.

I wondered if this was resolved Sarahmak or whether anyone else has used this company? They've put leaflets through my door a couple of times over a long time period and now we do need a roofer.

I used No More Noise to soundproof three ceilings and several walls in my flat (https://www.checkatrade.com/NmnSoundproofing/). They were very efficient and tidy and the reduction in noise levels was as they promised. It probably won't be cheap, but from personal experience it is money well spent when you can get some peace and quiet and sleep better. Ask for Hein or Grant.

I've just had a carpet installed in a bedroom and hallway and I highly recommend the carpet fitter, Dave Bassom. He was on time, tidy, friendly and reasonably priced.
