  6. Have a window which has a broken piece of plastic against which the window levers itself in to stay shut, as a result of which there is a permanent draught as the window won't fully close. I want this replaced else temporarily removed so I can glue it back together. Hinge is also bit dodgy, want this looking at lease pm me if interested. Thanks
  7. thanks all for highlighting need to register our feedback. I registered my view that partial privatisation of the park for 25 days of summer is not a good thing. And listed back at southwark the benefits they claim from park usage, which they are intending to restrict. https://moderngov.southwark.gov.uk/documents/s51656/Public%20Health%20presentation%20-%20parks%20open%20spaces.pdf
  8. In. I played in (and won) the Camden market [fun, not the serious] tournament once FWIW. I also have a 9yo who would potentially be interested in playing
  9. According to Charter ED's website today furthest distance offered was 1400m https://www.chartereastdulwich.org.uk/page/?title=Do+we+have+a+catchment%3F&pid=200 However, Google's cached preview states 1300m, so guess this must have updated to 1400m recently, and that the school publishes distances rounded to nearest 100m.
  10. Interesting... Thanks for posting. Has anyone tried writing to councillors on this topic? Effective/ineffective way of getting voices heard?
  11. Hi! We're still looking for any amount of nanny... We're pretty flexible, we're after afternoons 2 - 5 days per week. We're friendly and relaxed, please get in touch if any questions. Thanks!
  12. Nice one ianj for posting this. Everyone please fill it in if you want to avoid East Dulwich becoming even more of a transport black spot! I understand that lower usage and fare revenue may sadly mean some bus services will be pared back, but this proposal is voluntary, unnecessary, and would be self inflicted Not having buses running from what is by far the areas most useful station is ridiculous.
  13. Hello - still looking! Please get in touch if you are interested - we have a good amount of flexibility in days / times
  14. Hi, We have some very creaky wooden overlay in our upstairs hallway (victorian terrace). We would like someone to lift it up and replace with thick ply ready for carpeting over. Also - some stair treads (also overlay - but original stairs underneath are no good) are slightly loose and creaky and if we could get those strengthened /re-affixed so they stop creaking (access underneath from the cellar ) that would be great. Thanks in advance
