Thanks Spartacus! I'd have to come out of safe mode to do this, wouldn't I? Where do I find System Restore, to click on it? When you say at the end to open the System Protection tab, what then? And where would I look to see if I have recovery switched on? Sorry for so many questions! I'm really grateful to the friend who got me this far, and I'm terrified of now doing something which could undo all his hard work! -

Hi all, New to the area and after a recommendation please for a garage to book my car in for an MOT. It is a 17 year old VW Polo, so on the older side but a good runner. Ideally just looking to keep it going for another year and don't want to pay over the odds. Any recommendations for reliable and reasonable garage highly appreciated Dan -

I would also highly recommend Matt and Harri. They are hardworking, knowledgeable, friendly and clear about costs and timings. They came last October to cut back overgrown hedges, took out some sickly bamboo (including digging out a tangle of roots), jet washed paving and installed fencing for me. They have advised me which plants would work and sent me detailed listings of those plants including costings. Matt is a great communicator and replied very quickly to my initial query, visiting promptly to view the job as well as emailing a detailed quote and maintaining communication by text and phone. They did the job that I wanted, in the time frame that I wanted and at the price they had quoted. I was so pleased with their work and feel comfortable having them around (genuinely nice guys as the previous review mentioned) that I am now having them back to do the next job of sourcing suitable plants and planting them into the spaces that were cleared last autumn.
