Rules for Selling Items on East Dulwich Forum

Only goods available for collection in SE22 and surrounding areas of South London may be listed for sale on this forum board.

Goods sold via EDF must be legal, safe, accurately described and fit for purpose.

The following items are not allowed to be sold or given away via the forum:

  • Animals
  • Tobacco
  • Knives and other weapons
  • Adult goods

Ensure your thread title accurately describes what you are selling. Please put the price of the item in the thread title where possible, e.g. "Leather Sofa - £50".

If you have a big list of similar items to sell at once (e.g. a garage sale) then please put them all in one thread. Do not create more than 3 topics per day per account.

Where possible, please attach a photo, or a link to a shop where the item can be purchased. To upload an image, simply click the 'Choose Files' link below the post text area.

All sale transactions must be organised independently between the buyer and seller. The East Dulwich Forum cannot have any involvement in the transaction and therefore will not take responsibility for disputes (e.g. faulty goods or misleading description). However, accusations of fraud are taken seriously - please report any such occurrences to the forum administrator via the Contact Us button at the bottom of the page.

    • Hello I’m buying a double bed (dismantled already) and a mattress from another Forum member but I don’t have a vehicle. Can anyone help me? Pick up is in Sydenham and then back to mine in Nunhead. thanks!
    • Hi there - my boxes were delivered this morning and I’ll unpack over the next couple of days, so will have a pile of boxes and bubble wrap for you by the weekend if that’s any help? I’m on Limes Walk, SE15, near the Rye.
    • OK. I don't usually eat beetroot (except raw and grated in a salad) or brown sauce.  I hate cooked beetroot, if that is what the packs are. I suppose it depends what sort of food you are looking for.  Before you accuse me of being snobby, Lidl is very good value for many food items which I would buy, but there isn't one in East Dulwich,  and those in Peckham and Camberwell Green are too far for me to walk. I don't understand what you mean when you say "You said that you want it closed down so why would you go in there in the first place?" I was pleased that a pound shop was opening locally, and  If memory serves, I said that on here at the time. I have been in there several times in the hope of finding great things to buy - great things like I have found in other pound shops in the past. I haven't found anything much I want to buy in there, let alone any bargains, even at Christmas. I did once buy some toothpaste, and when I got home I realised that it was cheap because it was a smaller size tube than I usually buy. My post on this specific thread regarding it closing down was in the context of the previous posts which said  things like no staff being available to serve customers.  Of course there are very expensive shops and restaurants round here. I don't usually  go there either, and I don't want them closed down either. I don't know quite what point you are trying to make?
