Teacher: Birgit Pohl
Birgit makes wheel-thrown pots in porcelain from her studio in Forest Hill.
She aims to balance precision of form with fluidity in surface decoration, being particularly drawn to European ceramics of the early to mid-20thcentury.
Birgit studied at Clay College, Stoke-on-Trent and in November 2022, won Best Thrown Exhibit at the London Potters Annual Members Exhibition.
