At this one day workshop you will make tealights and Christmas decorations out of paper porcelain.
You will choose ten porcelain decorations and one porcelain tealight holder, which will be fired for you unglazed.
This event is suitable for all levels. No previous experience with clay required. Groups welcome.
Tickets are £130 per person for a whole day session 11 am - 5 pm. This includes the cost of materials, glazing and firing.
About the teacher
After decades as a ceramics hobbyist, Kyra has, in the last seven years, become a full-time maker and teacher at the Kiln Rooms and at the Bell House Pottery. She mostly makes thrown table ware and occasionally decorative stoneware, porcelain pots and jewellery.
Kyra’s work is on display and for sale at galleries in London, and in Greece.
