Sunday 2 March, noon to 3pm
Is your New Year’s resolution to get more involved with your local community? Have you been to one of our events and wondered what volunteering with us might be like? Or perhaps you have a passion for local history and bringing stories to life?
We’re hosting a Volunteering Open Day on Sunday 2 March. Sign up for a free ticket via eventbrite here:
Pop in anytime between 12noon and 3pm to say hello to our team, find out more about the roles we have on offer and hear about plans for this year. There will also be some mini tours of the mill plus hot drinks and baked treats made with our flour.
We are currently looking for more tour guides, millers, gardeners and cafe helpers. We welcome young people and can help with volunteering programmes such as the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme.

A year or so ago Clementine played a couple of songs from the floor at Dulwich . Last year she formed her trio with percussionist Carmen Ruiz Vicente and fiddle player Duncan Menzies. Carmen’s plays regularly with Savannah Gardner and the Recovering Good Girls. Duncan Menzies is no stranger to Dulwich folk having played here with both Copper Viper and Club Debris.
Clementine seamlessly knits together traditional, singer songwriter and folk-rock roots. She’s a very fine singer whose own memorable songs clearly relate to the folk tradition. I’d agree with the FATEA review that said ““Clementine has a great voice, writes her own very moving songs, and interprets traditional (and not so traditional) pieces in a new way”
The trio has been a great success; it has sold out the last three gigs including a recent very full Green Note. Recording is in progress. This is an act on the way up. Come and find out why.
Entrance tonight is £13 .
